Giroform® Starter Kit

Giroform introductory equipment in the Giroform Starterkit. The combination of well coordinated aids and the availability of the accessory required is part of the accuracy; and the introduction of the technicians in charge of model fabrication by a competent AmannGirrbach consultant as well as after-sales service, too.

The Giroform Starterkit 576702 comprises enough material for 100 models as well as all aids required in connection with the Pin Drill and the Giroform model.

Giroform Base plates

Shape-retaining acrylic base plates. Level side towards the dental arch, and splitcast profile with magnetic plate (Premium) towards the articulator. Before casting, impression and base plate are matched by means of the plate reception and the impression carrier. The individual die positions are transferred 1:1 onto the base plate, and the pins are fixed in the drill holes. Only then, it is lowered into the plaster mush. Thus, the setting expansion is stopped at the saw cut.

Giroform Putty

Permanently soft, yellow silicone putty for adding around the

periphery of the impression and for blocking out. Saves plaster and

saves time normally required for trimming and grinding the model.

Giroform base/silicone sleeves

For fabricating master models and utilizing previously used

Giroform base plates. The vestibular walls of the dual-purpose

sleeve are wider above the upper edge of the base plate. This

creates space for incorporating any soft tissue areas up to the

mucolabial fold that are included in the impression and are

required for the restoration.

Giroform Duplication flask

For the duplication of dies varying in size from single segments up to the complete dental arch. Suitable for Giroform base plate L. Two removable segment wings determine the duplication area and, thus, the material consumption.
