Full contour crowns in particular benefit from this. The IPS e.max CAD allows a layer thickness of only 1 mm in the case of adhesive luting. The CS2 program is recommended for this work, as it allows crystallization in less than 15 minutes. As the material has long been successfully established, scientifically documented results on clinical long-term success is available. IPS e.max CAD can be luted adhesively, self-adhesively or conventionally, depending on the type of restoration.
