Approval of Abutment Blank Libraries from ZimVie, Bredent Medical, Thommen Medical, and Neoss
Effective immediately, the exocad and 3Shape abutment blank libraries from manufacturers ZimVie, Bredent Medical, Thommen Medical, and Neoss have been validated for use in the Ceramill workflow.

The exocad libraries can be easily installed via the Ceramill Software Manager. The 3Shape libraries can be obtained from the manufacturers and then installed. The abutment blanks are distributed by the respective manufacturers.
When selecting milling strategies, please ensure you use machines that have been approved or are suitable for machining premilled abutment blanks made of titanium grade 4 and CoCr.
Note for 3Shape Users
In addition to the 3Shape library, 3Shape users must also install the exocad/Ceramill library for our CAM system Ceramill Match 2 to ensure full compatibility.
