General Course Terms and Conditions

Registration

Upon receipt of the course registration, the registration becomes binding for the participant. Detailed course documents and information will subsequently be sent together with the invoice. The invoice is due for payment two weeks before the start of the course/event.

Course Services

For full-day courses, the participation fee generally includes catering – lunch, snacks during breaks, and beverages. Participation in the courses will be certified with a certificate.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are only valid if submitted in writing and must be made at least 3 weeks before the start of the event. In this case, a processing fee of €50.00 + VAT will be charged. Alternatively, the course fee can be transferred to another course within the following 12 months.

If cancellation occurs less than 20 calendar days before the course begins, the course fee remains payable. However, the course place may be transferred to a substitute participant free of charge.

Cancellations and rebookings for online trainings must be made at least 2 working days before the event begins. In this case, a processing fee of €50.00 + VAT will be charged. Cancellations at a later point are not possible.

If the event has to be cancelled by Amann Girrbach for organizational or other reasons, the participation fee already paid will be refunded. Any further claims are excluded.

Purpose and Legal Basis of Data Processing

Purpose: Transfer of participant data to instructors for the preparation, organization, and implementation of training courses, as well as for issuing training certificates.

Legal basis: Processing of personal data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (processing necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller).

Recipients of the Data

The data will be shared internally with employees responsible for conducting the course and externally with instructors for contact purposes.

Storage Period

Personal data will be deleted or anonymized as soon as they are no longer required for the purposes for which they were collected or processed.

Your Rights Regarding the Processing of Your Data

As a data subject, you have the following rights regarding your personal data: Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR) Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR). After expiration of retention periods, the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) You also have the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and the right to object (Art. 21 GDPR).
